From Bullpens to Bumble

After a long and highly-anticipated departure, I am back from the jungle to talk sports. It's good to be back. Fitting that I return to the ole blog during the same time that baseball comes around. Spring training has been going on for two weeks now, at least, and I already am desperate to check the opening day box scores.

One of the best things I've seen come out this offseason wasn't about a player. I guess, officially, bullpen carts are a thing again. Every picture I've seen of bullpen carts seem to be from before I was born, which makes me thoroughly enjoyed to see what they have to offer. The best thing EVER will be those certain relievers that don't want to take the cart and instead sprint out guns blazin.. Basically bullpen carts seem like something really fun that won't be too memorable, with a short shelf life, but still different. And if you watch any sports media commentary on baseball, it could use anything different. Frankly I don't there's one thing wrong with the game, I love it just the way it is as slow as it is. The only instant adjustment I can think of is lower beer prices at stadiums. Baseball's in the summer, it's too expensive for anyone who's not a high roller to expect to keep the parking lot buzz through the 6th.

Bullpen carts grade: A-

I left this post and came back to it a day later... all of a sudden this thing I thought I cared about, well, I don't anymore. Which seems fitting actually because once upon a time the Clippers cared about something, rather someone, in which they now find repulsive. That's right I'm talking about Blake the snake Griffin. In case you missed it, Blake Griffin is now complaining about foul calls in Detroit, while Tobias Harris and Avery Bradley try not to absolutely love their new lives TOO much. Griffin has reportedly said that he was ecstatic about his new team. Meanwhile, the Clips dropped some new flare on their uniforms, that's right I'm talking Bumble. Chuck the Condor swiped right on a new sponsorship deal that has curtailed the new match that is (or has been) the Clippers and no Blake Griffin. Pause it. That's what's interesting to me. The best thing from the Blake Griffin trade to the Pistons isn't that the Pistons are better now because of Griffin. The Clippers had evidently given up on winning, selling tickets, star power, you name it. Yet, Lou Williams and Tobias Harris, to go with DJ and the rest of the squad seems to be a match made in heaven. Too bad for Blake that the Clippers didn't get the Bumble patch when he was still there so he could've found a more, uh, attractive date. Sorry Detroit.
