Dodgers Game 88 Notes

Okay so I joined this game late but was following along; had to drive to Sawtelle to buy some baseball cards. Committing to the investment that is finding that one gem worth tens of thousands. Anyway notes:

JD Martinez also added a homer in the Bottom of the 2nd inning,

- alright just got in my apt and watching this game with my eyes now, it's 4-0 Dodgers when i walked in

- Shohei Ohtani smashes a ball off the cap of his bat to the left of Mookie Betts, 2nd baseman Mookie Betts. Like complete cap job hit 97+mph and mookie almost still dove and got it.

- announcers said upon that ohtani single that it was the first Angels hit. So Cat Daddy Gonsolin is on his A game to this point, right?

- not so fast; as i scrambled to grab and awaken my Lenovo laptop after Mookie muffed a "hit" from Taylor Ward following ohtani's first hit for the Angels, Mickey Moniak hit a three-run frozen rope right over the 360' mark in RF of the Dodgers' wall, just to the left of the field side of the visitor's bullpen if you're watching on tv.

Bot 4th

- Tyler Anderson pitching against us tonight

-I think it was last year that Anderson was one of the Dodgers' best SP, but i am actually not sure. 90 % he was

- i was correct

- Anderson just stuck out the side in the home 4th ouch.

Bot 5th

- PLAY THAT MFin BATMAN MUSIC ORGEN LADY

- Mookie 2-3 with 2 homers. the dude is real life T-Rex Pennebaker

- Gonsolin @ 60 pitches: runners on 1b/2b 2 outs 0-1 count on Jo Adell rocket launcher

- I'm very happy to see Jo Adell getting a chance on the angels finally this season. Has hit like 80 home runs in the minors since he got sent down from the mlb when he was like 20

- Cat Daddy hits his cat daddy w a nice little cement mix slider that locked up Jo 5-3 Dodgers

Top 7th

-Gonsolin exits after 77 pitches 6.2 IP, 4 ER. Serviceable outing given the Dodgers the scored 7 to this point, but ONLY bc

Bot 8th

- Double for Miguel Rojas! Hits in James Outman Never thought I'd see the day!! The music person at Dodger Stadium actually turned on the Batman music as Miguel pulled into 2nd base hahahaha

- Batman music is what dodgers use for important home runs but usually just grand slams haha which makes this super funny for me only

- Freddie grounds into double play to second base and the throw just pops out of first baseman's glove. 9-3 dodgers now

- And as I type that will smith hits a bomba out to left.

11-4 Dodgers get in done minus Trout but against a pitcher in Tyler Anderson that I would say has as good of a chance to cut up our lineup as any other SP in MLB based on him being on the team last year. Any game that your team doesn't give up a 900-foot home run to Godzilla 10.0 is a good day
